Who We Are

New Iron started as a product company in Fall of 2000 building a first-generation web services stack. Today, the company prospers as a boutique co-sourcing and software solutions business. We share a deep background in custom software development and enterprise system integration, and have been delivering using Agile software development practices and management techniques from the beginning.

Our Technical Leadership

Janelle Klein is a pragmatic thinker and creative designer with a passion for improving software development. Currently an active developer and CTO at New Iron, she is dedicated to promoting grassroots community learning and building software talent in the community. As a developer, Janelle has specialized expertise in high-availability systems, data integration, database performance and design, and automated test and deployment strategies. She holds Sun and Cisco certifications for Java and networking (SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD, CCNA), and a B.S. Degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University.

Bryan Bilbrey is CEO of New Iron and certified Scrum Master since 2005, Bryan has spent the last 10+ years providing business development, software development and Scrum Master services for New Iron clients. Prior to that, he was Director of Partner Integration for Driveway and was an Object Technologist at ObjectSpace. Bryan holds Electrical and Computer Engineering degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University, and a Junior Fulbright from Kyoto University, Japan.
