In the beginning, we thought we could change the world by building great software. With a few twists and turns in the story, New Iron the product company became New Iron the staffing and recruiting firm.
We started consulting, and in the process found our calling. And our journey has given us a unique perspective.
Over time, we’ve grown. With our roots in tech, we focus on technical excellence and culture fit. Our vision is simple: to change the world by raising the bar on the hiring experience.

Bryan Bilbrey
President & Founder
Husband, father, son and brother. Bryan originally founded New Iron to build better software. Today he leads New Iron to improve hiring and team building in the software industry. A mentor at heart, Bryan is intensely curious and driven to improve whatever he’s responsible for.
Will Longenecker
Senior Recruiter
My life career is to be the best possible husband, father, son, brother and friend. In addition to these responsibilities, I have been working in Human Resources and Leadership for over twenty years. I graduated from Saint Edwards University Summa Cum Laude and have worked in Fortune 500, start-ups and small companies. Longterm relationships built on transparency are my path when working with individuals and organizations.

Kanban, powerlifting, and world travel enthusiast and 20+ year Austin resident who enjoys teaching, making a difference in people’s lives, and elevating the process of team building. Former co-chair of the AgileAustin QA SIG (six years) and AgileAustin board member (Program Chair 2015-2016).

Mother of three beautiful children who can’t seem to agree on many things. Cider enthusiast with a heart for finances, numbers, and spreadsheets. Working in Austin for over 20 years, for small and large businesses, she has the knowledge and skills needed to keep the company moving with positive growth.
